Galaxy Cathode Rebuild Kits and Services for
Leybold Triode Ion Pumps

Leybold triode-configuration ion pumps are used in a variety of applications, but especially Electron Microscope vacuum systems.  Since Leybold support for these pumps is often difficult to obtain, Duniway Stockroom is introducing rebuilding kits and services for these pumps.

 The Galaxy cathode technology, provides:

• direct drop-in replacement for triode technology

• use the same pump control unit, cable and feedthrough

• provides the same pumping speed for active gases as the triode

• supplies stable air and argon pumping

• provides more capacity for hydrogen (water vapor) than the triode

• allows maintenance of older equipment without major pumping system expenses

• gives the same life expectance as the original Leybold triodes
