Rebuilding Services
Duniway Stockroom Corporation performs repair and rebuilding services for a wide variety of vacuum pumps. All rebuilt vacuum pumps are completely rebuilt in-house and come with our standard 90-day warranty on all parts and labor.
Call or e-mail us (info@duniway.com) with the manufacturer, model number and a description of the symptoms of the problem to get an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Our customer service representatives will contact you following the inspection to provide you with our findings and an estimate for complete repair, if indicated.

Open pump & remove elements
Disassemble elements completely
Clean stainless steel parts
Replace titanium and tantalum parts
Clean and/or replace ceramic parts
Vacuum degas all metal element parts
Reassemble elements
Install the elements in the clean body
Leak check
Bake-out on vacuum manifold
Check for leakage current
Pinch off seal
Clean exterior
Check for leakage current

MECHANICAL PUMP REBUILDING PROCESS
Disassembly, inspection and cleaning.
Total replacement of all seals, gaskets, springs, o-rings and valves. (Minor kit)
All other parts replaced as required, with customer approval, for an extra charge.
Two or more changes of hydrocarbon oil.
Complete test run for 24 hours.
Thorough draining.
Exterior painting and a final tagging of rebuild information.
For a small charge, standard or chemical series pumps can be prepped for “Fomblin” (inert fluid).

DIFFUSION PUMP REBUILDING PROCESS
Incoming inspection and disassembly
Thorough cleaning and bead blasting of body and appropriate parts
Water and helium pressure & flow check (limited cooling coil repair)
Complete refinishing of pump
Heater element assembly, thermal switch and plug are replaced (where applicable)
Installation of necessary O-Rings
Final Inspection

TURBO PUMP REBUILDING PROCESS
Incoming inspection and disassembly of pump
Removal of bearings*
Cleaning of all parts, including rotor, stators, motor housing:, etc.
Installation of new bearings*
Balancing of rotor*
Reassembly of clean parts and new o-rings.
Vacuum leak check
Final test run of rebuilt pump.
